LARM Safety Grant
The City of Waverly was awarded the $500 LARM Safety Grant that was used toward the purchase of an AED for the City Council Chambers. It was assembled and mounted by Chad Hartwick, a dedicated Public Works employee and Safety Committee Member. Hartwick's expertise as the Fire Chief of Palmyra make him a valueable asset to the Safety Committee. The AED was purchased with the assistance of Fire Chief Ryan Mueller and EMS Coordinator Robin Hoffman and is compatible with the Waverly Fire/Rescue equipment. In addition to acquiring the new AED, we have upgraded the first aid kits in all city buildings and vehicles and implemented a plan to ensure they are consistently restocked, up-to-date, and readily available. We are committed to prioritizing safety for our community member and staff, and this funding will support our ongoing efforts to maintain a safe and secure environment for all.
