It is designed to analyze current standards in the community and decide if things need to be improved. It also forecasts future expansion and outlines what the city will be doing to accommodate this expansion.

Current Comprehensive Plan
The Comprehensive Plan was updated and adopted on December 12, 2023. It sought the growth and development of The City of Waverly. It set forth the plans and regulations for zoning and subdivisions within the city. It also set out a plan for public facilities, which were designed to accommodate the growth to come.
