Burn Permit
Update Nov 12, 2024: Burn Permit Stipulations Added:
At this time, we can proceed cautiously to permit burning permits to be issued and authorized according with weather conditions. I would highly recommend to the permit holders when burning to mitigate risk with spot fires.
- Disc around piles in fields and 200 ft away to create a fire break.
- If pile is not located in an open field, all fine fuels such as grass need to be mowed short or removed within 50 ft of the perimiter.
- If area is near a tree line, create fire break for fine fuels before tree line to reduce risk of fire ingress into wooded area.
- Sufficient water on premise to extinguish spot fires as needed.
- Sunrise to sunset, all fire must be extinguished.
