Annual Fourth of July Parade
Join us for the annual 4th of July parade at 11:00 a.m. 2:00 p.m. Please arrive at the Waverly Intermediate School at 10:00 a.m. 1:00 p.m. to line up if you wish to have your organization be in the parade. Entry forms will be printed at the event to fill out or print one below and bring it. Preregistration is not necessary for parade entry. The parade follows the traditional route as previous years.
UPDATE 7/3/24 - Due to forecasted rain, the 4th of July parade will be moved to 2:00 p.m. with lineup at 1:00 p.m.
All luncheons will be held at 11:30 a.m. The kiddie parade is on as scheduled unless it rains. There will be open swim from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. The money dive will be moved to 3:30 and will conclude after the belly flop contest at 4:30.

Fourth of July Events
Come join in the Fourth of July celebration in Waverly, Nebraska! Events include a pancake feed, kids parade, City parade, ice cream social, lunch at local churches, kid games, money dive, sand volleyball, and swimming. The celebration concludes with a fireworks display at Lawson Park at around 10pm (dusk). Reminder: Sky Lanterns are PROHIBITED in Waverly. We hope you come cool off at the Aquatic Center for the annual Money Dive at 1:00pm and join the many events held in Waverly on July 4th!
