City of Waverly City Council Vacancy
Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 30.33 of the Waverly Municipal Code that a vacancy exists on the Ward 2 City Council Member for a term that would run from the date of appointment to December 8, 2026. Anyone interested in applying for the vacancy should submit a statement of interest to City of Waverly in person to 14130 Lancashire Street or by mail to P.O. Box 427, Waverly, NE 68462 or by email to cityadministrator@citywaverly.com.

The City Council deals with the City's main issues with goals of improving living, working, and recreation in Waverly. The City Council meetings are held the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at 6:00 p.m. in the Waverly Community Meeting Hall in the City Office Building at 14130 Lancashire Street. (Please check the Public Notices page to confirm.) The Council Members are elected by 4-year, staggering terms. The City Council works closely with the City Administrator, Stephanie Fisher.
