Committee Openings - Volunteer Opportunities

Hello Community. We’re looking for dedicated volunteers to join our city’s committees and help shape Waverly’s future! If you’re passionate about making a difference and believe in the power of teamwork, we’d love for you to be part of this effort. Together, we can make Waverly an even better place for everyone. Reach out to learn more about the open committee positions and how you can get involved! Time commitment varies, but roughly 90 minutes per month would be approximate plus prep time for meetings.

Current committees include:

• Community Redevelopment Authority (CRA)
• Planning Commission
• Board of Adjustments
• Parks, Recreation & Trees

(Additional committees will be added in the coming months)

In addition, our newly elected Mayor is looking for community members with a passion for collaboration and fresh, innovative ideas to fill the open Ward 2 council position.
